Nothing worse than eating dinner then walking into a kitchen full of dirty pots and pans…..what I do is wash everything as I go, pots…spoons…spatulas…skillets…that way when you’re done eating all you need to do is throw your plate into the dishwasher!

Yeah, from the shit-go, this has been a shit sandwich. I had a lot of fun with W’s regime and I threw a lot of stuff up on the bigassweb for your perusal. But this shit has been so fippin’ shitty it’s hard to deal. I literally couldn’t believe it the night it happened. I thought H would win and win big.
It doesn’t help that I work side by side with several true believers in the Trumpocracy. One of the main offenders that I work with voted strictly because of guns. At least 2 others are as much Republican as I am Dem. It’s like those people that insisited OJ was innocent. There it is, on live TV and you’re telling me different because…???
I have to recognize that about half the people really don’t care and the ones that do are not quite half. It has proved memorable. I hope we’re here when this shitshow ends.

Me: Alexa, play some 80s.
Alexa: “Welcome to the jungle, we got fun and…”
Me: Alexa, next song. Guns N’ Roses aren’t the only band from the 80s.
…
Seriously. I love tophats as much as the next Gibson Les Paul but if I hear Sweet Child o’ Mine one more time I’m gonna puke.

Peeps, here’s your i-go-about-things-the-wrong-way Sunday jam.
Morrissey always had the best dance moves. And the right hair. Even if all his hope was gone.
Bonus points: Johnny Marr played guitar on The The’s Mind Bomb. Best disc in their catalog as far as I’m concerned.

For the longest time I thought he was saying “I am the sun, I am the air” and I was like “um, arrogant.”

Well he was but just spelled different. He’s arrogant regardless though. š

Agreed. Its also a man made fiction but it can be experience and or lived everyday depending on the choices made.

Yes. I believe man made by various religions to control the masses. Also very fear based. Just my humble view.

I can’t get into the microscopic analysis of this but here’s a quick read. I focus (and re-focus) on the bit about how he changed his mind a lot.

I’m gonna have to get a book on Amazon, some things are too hard for me to absorb when reading online.

But I did enjoy the part on objectification of people. I’ve been way too good at that. Hence my two divorces.

Perhaps hell is subjective and depends a lot on how you’re feeling at any particular moment. š„š„š„

keamoose, jimi — yep, all of what you were saying. Some days hell is isolation for me, some days it’s the cats wanting to go outside when I got shit to do.
I’ve been thinking too much about fate recently and how I decided that it was a real thing.
More on that later. I guess I’m not done thinking about it.

I’ve been saving movie tickets since moving into this house. I thought they needed a home today.
There’s some cinematic gems, including the Star Wars 3D stub from the last time I drank.
Some of these bring back the memories, some I’ve even seen with you guys.

You are most welcome! Marcus has the best seats but the worst ticket stubs. They’re laser printed on laser printer. Horrible memorabilia.
