this is the first time i heard ‘em.
her voice is wonderful but the way they rock is the bitchinest sound i heard in a long time!!!
i love ‘em!
you get that piano with 2 guitars, bass + drum and you can’t go wrong. i would bet a roosevelt dime that the piano player uses a hammond B3 on some songs, and i won’t be wrong. it’s tried and true and you won’t be blue. they probably got more than a few and don’t sniff glue. follow the rule and get behind the mule. i’m too cool for school and nobody’s fool but i’m a bit of a tool. don’t be cruel just burn us some fuel.

Also have a listen to The Black Keys if you’re not familiar with them.

alabama shakes and the black keys are the best thing i’ve heard in forever and 2 days!
i wish all the bands still played it like this.
when all the bands played like this i suppose we got tired of it but it was the bees knees.

Definitely the bee knees.. The best part about music is that there’s so many varieties and beknownst to the masses or not, each genre is still cranking out great tunes.

i tell people all the time i’m a writer, not a speller. alternately, i tell ‘em i can spell stuff until i have to type it.
i had to take a quiz in a required meeting today. 13 common grammar mistakes. i would have bet that i got 100%. i missed 3 of 13.
i DID know when to use whoever and whomever though.
so i got that going for me.

Today is an incredibly exciting day for our team as Mojang and the Minecraft franchise join Microsoft. Minecraft is one of the most popular video games of all time, with more than 100 million downloads, on PC alone, from players since its launch in 2009. Minecraft inspires millions to create together, connects people across the globe, and is a community that is among the most active and passionate in the world.
Minecraft is written in Sun’s Java programming language. I wonder if Microsoft will re-write it using C# and abandon the old codebase.
Also, I can not say enough how big Minecraft is to M. and her friends. It’s like their Star Wars.
In related news from the original Minecraft developer: I’m leaving Mojang.

I know nothing of Minecraft, nothing. I do know MS tends to ruin original ideas.
After reading “I’m leaving Mojang” I have even more respect and sympathy for millions of original thinkers.

I don’t know why they make these crappy devices.
The buyer will be disappointed and it’ll be just one more electronic in the landfill.

safer sox.
i also got “heat keepers” hunting socks that i use to sleep in. they were the ones that did the trick. i triedbseveral pair of less effective sox that are supposed to keep my feet warm but didn’t. i don’t know what happened to my “monkey socks”. Monkey socks are the kinds they made a monkey doll from long ago. They were the state issued pair @ the Iowa State Training School for Boys.
I was in Cottage Five. Cottage Five was for older kids and bigger kids. I weighed about 110 pounds. As you may surmise, I was one of the older kids.

It’s quite amazing how socks never come up in normal conversation for me but on the inside, everybody has their goto’s.
Another interesting note: I’ve never seen actually monkey socks in the wild. Only the tamed critters they made into dolls.
