Monopoly kicks out three classic game tokens

There’s been a big shakeup in Monopoly’s eight classic game pieces. Say goodbye to the boot, wheelbarrow and thimble tokens.

The ouster of the classic trio is the result of an online vote Monopoly parent Hasbro (HAS) held in January at VoteMonopoly.com, marking the first time in Monopoly’s 82-year history that Hasbro crowdsourced the future of the game.

Voters were faced with a choice: Should Hasbro replace some — or all — of the traditional game pieces like the top hat and boot with more culturally relevant items like a hashtag, emoji or computer?

More than 4.3 million votes determined the newly configured group of eight: a T-Rex, rubber ducky and penguin will join the five classic tokens Scottie the dog, hat, car, cat and battleship. The boot, wheelbarrow and thimble won’t appear in the game starting this fall.

The boot was my favorite 😢 and I would go for the wheelbarrow after the hat.

Being hairy comes with its positive and negatives. They have to watch out for hot glue, the sticky part of wristbands and bandaids that don’t stick. Being a guy that’s pretty hair these all hit a little too close to home.

One guy on Amazon was struggling with the amount of hair on his rear end and decided to do something about it. A. Cheppell tried Veet for Men Hair Removal Gel Creme to remove the excess hair that was hindering his bathroom sit down time. Cheppell quickly learned the gel was a terrible idea.

Cheppell left a hilarious and very detailed review on Amazon that quickly was awarded 5-stars.

You won’t be disappointed.

The absolute best songs are the ones that aren’t specific but then perfectly are to each of us.

Yep, I read, watch movies, hang out with my peeps, shuck and jive with Maggie, do laundry, wash my truck, troll the internet, take pictures with my phone and tweak them until they’re just right. Sometimes I’ll pet the cats backwards because I know they love it. I bitch and moan about shit I don’t like until I don’t care about it anymore. Sometimes I play video games for hours on end. When it’s not winter I’ll ride my bike up and down the river trails.

I’ll obsess about Joan Jett or Garp or pie.

When I’m feeling extra spiritual I’ll write about hope. I guess it’s the things that normal people do… Looking for meaning *in* life.

Burroughs said something along the lines of how we’re cursed because we know cherry highs and we’ll always be longing because of that.

Nice.. I spent a fair amount of time clicking the Wiki articles for her and The Runaways, too. I think I was in love with her for about four hours yesterday after watching the Crimson video on infinite loop. I like her short blonde hair better than the 80s black poof.
