With all the sheltering in place and working at home since March 13th, I keep thinking about Tina Turner and Mel Gibson in their post-apocalyptic Bartertown predicament.
All we want is life beyond the Thunderdome.
Except I’m not dueling Master Blaster. And there’s no Aunty Entity and no Max Rockatansky. And thank god, no smell of pig feces. But there just might be a Tomorrow-morrow Land.
It was full on winter. And Mr Dead chasing ‘em all.
But one he couldn’t catch. That were Captain Walker.
He gathers up a gang, takes to the air, and flies the sky.
And then last night I didn’t get out of my PJs and get dressed until maybe 7:30pm.. 🤔
So yeah, I guess kinda just like Thunderdome.

There aren’t nearly enough people in their jammies in Bartertown. Totally unrealistic.
Plenty of shoulder pads and mohawks though 💪
I’m short on shoulder pads, but I got plenty of Xtreme Hold Hair Gel, so I’m pretty much ready to go.
