Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly will go head-to-head in a debate to be held in Washington next month, the pair announced Monday.
In what will no doubt be the greatest exchange of ideas since the Lincoln-Douglas debates of 1858, the hosts will face off Oct. 6 in a 90-minute event, dubbed the “The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium.” The conversation will be moderated by television journalist E.D. Hill, and Stewart and O’Reilly will also field questions from the audience and, of course, the Internet.
Odds are that O’Reilly talks a lot but makes no real arguments and/or points.

Audiences tend to laud iconic scoundrels for one or two particularly nefarious capers. For example, everybody relishes Darth Vader’s misbehavior in The Empire Strikes Back, but nobody remembers when he tried to out-scheme Princess Leia out of obtaining a bank loan. Here’s a half-dozen memorable times your favorite bad eggs cracked up hard.
Skynet didn’t need to build damn terminator wolves. Dumb comic book writers.

I don’t know where this post it going. I suppose the alternate title could be “Random thoughts on evil, Hell, and the religious questions thereabouts.” Also could be “blogging when I should be doing other things.” […]
I listen to the god that doesn’t shout.
Also, be sure to read the previous pieces on Pascal’s Wagers, linked in the article of course.

Using cucumber as the foundation and base of this popsicle was perfect. Cucumber has a bright and refreshing flavour and is amazing in popsicle form. There is the clear taste of jalapeno and a light kick of heat at the end. Along for the ride is the juice of a lime that gives the perfect zing and some sugar to sweeten it up.
Not sure if I’d like cucumbers and jalapenos together but it is food for thought.
