Google employee posts horrifying video that will convince you to never buy a Nest smoke alarm

It’s a safe bet that Nest CEO Tony Fadell is not too happy with Google staff engineer Brad Fitzpatrick right now. Fitzpatrick last week posted a video that showed Nest’s Nest Protect smoke alarms badly misbehaving in his home. In fact, despite the fact that his house was not on fire, the alarms kept going off and he was unable to find a way to get them to shut up. Fitzpatrick says he posted the video for one reason: To warn people away from buying Nest Protect.

Sounds delightful.

Peeps, here’s your video for Friday… They have to be one my most favorite bands. The video looks like my laptop during a work day, with graphics instead of webpages. And the lyrics are exactly the kind word-smith-y goodness you’d expect from any decent band.

Some @ levels unknown 2 me within myself were left as markers, things i had completely 4gotten creating appeared n homes of people i had know idea i gave them 2. Anyway, the desire 2 create A&L is not around or sex or money or things but that doesnt mean i wont reach a higher ideal-just comfortably plateaud right now-hell i got a bucket & mop & now that i think about it-a book about birds i bought from library :-D

It takes alot of creativity energy 2 manufacture a an illusion, allow the infinite power of your consciousness 2 tighten up the nuts & bolts of the physics, fill n the blank spots, & the like so it will b believable enuf when u r born there. :-è
