One of my local friends is gearing up for his trip to Mexico next month. He looked at the forecast for his trip — 85 for the average high. I wanted to punch him in the mouth.

And on this night, I declared to the cat, “LET US EAT CAKE.”

And the cat cocked her head and let out a puzzled but agreeing meow.

And so I enjoyed this chocolate cake and the cat enjoyed whatever I dropped on the floor.

And our tummies were soon full of cake and the evening was good.

I saw a guy playing a #StarWars game through the window of his house while I was driving to work. There were definitely lightsabers and I was totally like, “Dude, can I come in and play?”
