This song has been in my head ALL DAY.
“Baby, when I’m yelling at you, it’s not your fault, it’s not your fault.”

When I smoke, it’s generally because I’m in withdrawal.
This morning I smoked because I’m a smoker.
I hate that.

It’s all good. I started feeling sick because I smoke too much. Because I’m a smoker.
Thanks though!

What is weird that I absolutely hated being in there before it was pink.
In TV news, Cheers is on so I have to quit talking to myself. :)

Peeps, we’re supposed to celebrate… But I don’t think we’ll do much with $10.

Although it’s been off the air for nearly 13 years, Fox’s sci-fi television series “The X-Files” has managed to maintain a consistently loyal and passionate fanbase, resulting in the creation of a second theatrical release in 2008. For a while now, rumors have persisted about the return of “The X-Files” to television with all of the original creative minds, as well as the key involvement of actors David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. If the latest rumor is to be believed, then we might be getting ever closer to a television revival of the beloved series.

Peeps, I read about twenty pages of this the first month I was sober. It got to be too much so I put it down. So today I’ve read more than half and I must say that Mr. Burroughs, gay ad exec in Manhattan, getting sober… he’s my new hero.

“Running with Scissors” is excellent. Book and movie. Interestingly, the movie is at least as good. Soundtrack makes some surrealistic endeavors seem plausible. Although not gay, I identified with Augusten’s weird home life.
Mental illness. Alcoholism. Drug addiction. Violins. violins. it’s the only thing that will make you see sense.

Cool.. I have the book on my list and now also the movie.
I think it’s the socially outcasted feelings that I relate to with the gays. One of my former co-workers (that turned into one of my good, good friends) in Oregon was gay and his delightful arrogance was too hilarious. Him bickering with the lesbian managers was everything you could imagine, just like you see on TV.
Mathew, Mathew! Wherefore art thou?
We bonded pretty well but sometimes he’d get too descriptive when talking about his mens. I never cared to know how thick of a cock one of his fling’s had.
But ya, mental illness, alcoholism, addiction.. Always terrific non-fiction.
