Commenting on Don't change the Excel

keamoose keamoose · Dec 13, 2017 at 10:59 am

An Excel thing happened yesterday, wherein the best long-term solution was for me to learn to code Visual Basic and write my own functions. And I guess that sounds a little extreme, but it’s actually exactly the same as when I decided to learn Danish because I couldn’t read something on Facebook, or the time I liked Dave and therefore ended up living in the sub-Arctic. So I guess that’s just how I am. Anyway, Excel is the best.

Gotta weigh in on the celery: I refer to it as stringy water.

Ugh, that’s just wrong. And also bad UI design.

Yep, I need yards of floss if I even look at celery. Work that into the legislation if ya can.

Most of the time when I’m having snacks at work I’m not even paying attention to what I’m eating. I’m on snack autopilot if you will. 😊

i can’t eat celery. i eat broccoli and brussels sprouts and twigs and low branches but i can’t eat celery. it’s bitter and it’s the food chain’s equivalent of velcro, another widely accepted evil branch of the axis.

Grown, SOBER man. No excuse. I mean it’s a limp goddam excuse but if he’d been drunk or fucked up he could at least run off to a treatment center.

I’ll never forget the time we were in 7th grade, playing DnD in the Evan’s library after school. One of my best friend’s died in the game. The Dungeon Master wanted his character sheet to tear up. Because that’s what they did when you died.

Chad literally started crying and refused to hand it over.

“SHE’S MINE!!!”

My favorite was when I wrote QUOTIENT(F3,30). I was pretty proud of myself.

When I look back on when I was a teenager and did stupid things I kinda get it. I was young and dumb. But grown men acting juvenile, it makes me think that something has seriously stunted their emotional growth.
