Have you heard this one? I don’t know if you like Johnny Cash, but I think the lyrics will mean something to you.

I have been known to refer to it as the magic forest.

A glorious wilderness indeed! I especially like the dark navy blue sky in that last one. It’s almost a fairy tale to Narnia with the wooded path and all.

Yeah, this is all within about a 1 minute walk. The last one was taken on the way home from work.

You’re welcome! We have no shortage of snow on trees up here. That’s tism featured in the last pic.

Really, I prefer to deposit cheques by taking a photo on my phone and not even leaving the house.

I meant Old Norse, the precursor to Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish. English inherited a few words from the ol’ Vikings. šŸ˜Š

My cuts are pretty symmetrical though.

We’re too lazy down round these parts. We like to sit in our cars and avoid physical contact with the Norwegian counters. I would like to use the British animal cheque spelling though. I would pronounce it “le cheque” though. Because I’m fancy.

Wait is Norwegian the right descriptor for Norse?

Wow, up here we just hand the cheque to the teller. Like an animal. Also, we spell it cheque… Like, I guess, a British animal.

Bonus trivia since I’m already talking about spelling: the word “teller” comes from a Norse word for counting!
