I think the only way a ninja could take down a hippo is if the hippo were sleeping.

Peeps, here’s your why-not-be-the-hero Thursday jam. This month this album turns 25. We should get some fireworks and skin mags.

Finally got a new machine since the 2012 MacBook Air I’ve been using was getting tired of waking up in the morning. 😴
MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)
Processor: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB
I went with the Pro because it was the only model with a terabyte hard drive.
Hopefully this one will do me for another six years.

Audio (MP3): 20180410 - Apologies as presents
On a person’s special day if I tell the person that I forgot to give or get them a present, it’s like instead of giving them their actual present I’m giving them an “I forgot” instead. Regardless if I actually do give them the present later.
It’s better to not hear anything at all, to be kept wondering, a little mystery perhaps, than to get an “I’m sorry that you weren’t high enough on my list to remember but here’s this apology instead.”
Nobody likes to hear that they were forgotten or feel like they’re an after thought. And when they actually do get their present, it has this uncomfortable bow attached.
So if, on a special day for someone, I forget to “do” what I’m supposed to do, I try to stay away from telling them that I forgot. I’d rather play it cool and “do” what I’m supposed to do as soon as possible.

Here’s what I need to know today:
Be really good at listening to people who know what they’re talking about.

One of the great acts of faith of the time was that the creative artist was seriously neurotic. In fact it was supposed to be dysfunction that fueled the artist’s ability to create.

Fox News has inadvertently posted a graphic showing it trails other cable news networks in trustworthiness.
During a segment on Sunday on Media Buzz, host Howard Kurtz was discussing with the Republican pollster Frank Luntz a Monmouth University poll which asked respondents if the media regularly or occasionally reports fake news.
The graphic that came up on screen showed results from another question, about what cable news outlets respondents trusted more. Fox News was last at 30%, behind CNN and MSNBC, both regular targets of attacks by President Donald Trump.

Be aware: it’s really not that great of a story when one watches the whole clip.
