Writing a valid, functional, and strict MySQL regular expression for latitudes and longitudes is much harder than I thought it would be. Note that I said “MySQL” because they have their own regex engine apparently.

I was never a big fan of change. I hated it.
But once I got comfortable with the idea, and then started fully expecting it, when change did come along it wasn’t that bad. And in the here and now, most days I look forward to it.
Stagnation leads to a stale life.

The 2018 Mustang Cobra Jet is a turnkey race car—it’s not street legal—and Ford will only make 68 of them to mark the year the original debuted. You have a choice of two colors: Race Red or Oxford White. Price tag: $130,000, not including available anniversary badging and graphics. You can place your order now at a Ford dealership.
Under the hood is a 5.2-liter version of Ford’s 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 with a 3.0-liter fifth-generation Whipple supercharger. It has a three-speed racing transmission.
Ford says the car can exceed 150 mph, which necessitates a parachute on the back. And it claims the car will do the quarter-mile run in just over 8 seconds, which means it has at least 700 horsepower and likely exceeds 1,000 (more specs including horsepower will be revealed later this summer). For perspective: Motor Trend clocked the Tesla Model S P100D’s quarter-mile at 10.5 seconds.
I wasn’t a fan of the white and gold look but’s growing on me. The headlights and grill remind me a little bit of a Cobra, too. Much more than a pony.

Flashback to that time I took a social media poll to see who you guys liked between Huey Lewis and Ron Jeremy.
Looks like no mayo for Huey.

Oh my gosh. We were with another couple at a club and our friend shook his hand…we turned around and his wife was squirting hand sanitizer all over his hands 😂

Spotted at My Half of the Sky in Wheaton. They’ve must’ve had a problem with this. Because you don’t make a sign unless there’s a problem.

Sometimes when I’m at the post office mailing out the diaries magazine, I leave stickers next to the other forms.
Pay it forward and all that.

Audio (MP3): 20180817 - Pull the pin on their grenade
Four days after the car wreck of Nov 1989
And then there was that one time when I was in high school and in a car wreck. Of course I was drinking so the details are all a blur. I had huge gash on the top of my head after hitting the windshield. I would tend to believe there was enough blood to make people worry.
My friends and I are outside the car and the police are there and it’s all a big commotion. The car’s smashed, there’s broken glass, flashing lights blue and red.

You had critical injuries and you are lucky to be alive! Unless we are talking about two different auto accidents.

I was talking about the Nov 1989 accident. I think you’re thinking of the Dec 1990 accident.

Never did figure out why the cop returned your driver’s license to your grandmother’s the next day. He took it at the hospital because I said you weren’t able to consent to a blood test (you didn’t even know what month it was). He said that was refusal to take the test, I said whatever.

Ah nice! I see that you can search for parcels.
keamoose · Aug 20, 2018 at 6:43 pm
You can search for more or less anything if you have the right permissions on your login. Like, the property assessment guys can search by the names of homeowners. I can’t imagine what the database must look like. I mostly use it for air photos and land tenure (e.g. to see if an area is owned by the territorial government or by the municipality). It has some nice features; I always feel appreciative of the programmers when I use it. 😊
