Maggie and I made “mostly pumpkin pie milkshakes” tonight. The reason I say “mostly” is because we didn’t have all the actual ingredients for pumpkin pie filling.
It was pretty good though. But don’t ever eat “pure pumpkin” right out of the can. It’s hideous.

Maggie and I put together a Thankful Tree tonight by writing something we were grateful for on each leaf, and then talking about each as we put them on the tree. 🍂

Do you ever come across a piece of clothing when folding laundry, a shawl that’s tapered and flowing and think to yourself, “I don’t know how to fold this. I can’t do anything with it!”
And then pull out a nice blue dress shirt from six years and one month ago, squeeze into it, and shout to the hanger, “I can’t wear this! I look like a hog! I’ve gained 60 pounds since 2012 and there’s no way I can loose all of that by noon.”
And then when you come upstairs to the kitchen you see the neighbor jogging down the street back to his house and think, “Shut up dude. You and your thanksgiving morning run are just trying to make me feel bad. I’m just gonna eat these last 6 almond M&Ms all by myself.”

i saw some chitter chatter on the bigassweb where they were discussing sydney knowing what “sequestered” or “subpoenaed” mean. she’s on the money with the emoticons though.
