In more culinary news, this is how you eat cake on Fridays after work.
Just peel back the plastic wrap and get a spoon.

Peeps, feast your eyes on le cake. Maggie wanted it to be round and use ALL of the batter so we made a series of le cakes.
Then I realized the frosting from poor mother cupboard expired back in Nov 2016. No, one cannot have frostless cake so we made icing for drizzling.
Also, since we used the juice from a full lime (because I like lime chocolate cake) Maggie added green food coloring to le icing mix.
Yummy AND festive.

Sara put a little bundt cake in my fridge while I was at work. ❤️
I haven’t been this excited since Willie Nelson told me I didn’t actually have to pay my taxes!!

I love it when Maggie bakes and goes all gourmet. We went with powered sugar because that’s what the cosmos called for.

Now that my fatass is done eating cake I was gonna go ride my bike but the wind is blowing. I just can’t do that anymore either. 😢

I came up with the idea and Maggie put it all together. I thought it’d be more limey but there’s only a hint. It’s quite good.

Maggie pretty much followed the cake box recipe and when the batter was in the bowl, she cut a lime in half and juiced it into the batter. I think next time we’ll get two limes and mix the second into the frosting.
