One of the great acts of faith of the time was that the creative artist was seriously neurotic. In fact it was supposed to be dysfunction that fueled the artist’s ability to create.

Fox News has inadvertently posted a graphic showing it trails other cable news networks in trustworthiness.
During a segment on Sunday on Media Buzz, host Howard Kurtz was discussing with the Republican pollster Frank Luntz a Monmouth University poll which asked respondents if the media regularly or occasionally reports fake news.
The graphic that came up on screen showed results from another question, about what cable news outlets respondents trusted more. Fox News was last at 30%, behind CNN and MSNBC, both regular targets of attacks by President Donald Trump.

Be aware: it’s really not that great of a story when one watches the whole clip.

Speaking of marathons…
And then there was that one time when we were living in Connecticut in the middle of winter and TNT had a weekend marathon for Planet of the Apes.
By the time Sunday night came around everybody hated the apes except me.

A few years back I started writing a book. Well, I don’t know if you could call a book but it was similar to how I write now with one-off stories and the like. It did have a somewhat linear flow between the stories though.
It was mostly bullshit, too.
But I was thinking about one of the stories last night, one that was about the Allison Avenue era.
I haven’t felt much like writing anything new this month so here you go.
—Monday; morning
Frank was thinking of a conversation he and Nine had the night before as she started the kettle boiling for that morning’s coffee.
> FRANK: What’s your password again?
> NINE: Crater…regular.
That was such a minor conversation but sometimes something minor was all it took to start his cognitive trains a rolling.

Doesn’t the Post Office deliver Amazon packages?

Sometimes UPS delivers them, sometimes USPS, and sometimes Amazon sends out their own vans.

Today it was an Amazon van obviously.

Do all the different deliverers notify you that a package has been delivered?

I don’t think we’re ready for that just yet. People would be shooting them down, etc. 😊

It’s the way that you fake it. I know it’s too late.
One can never go back home, can never reclaim their youth.
But can one mend a broken heart? Can one ever truly forgive and forget?
I don’t think so.
It’s like a bloodstain on your bluejeans. No amount of love or forgiveness will ever wash that away.
Personally, I might have tolerance at best.
Happy Friday, I suppose.
