Peeps, here’s your it-eats-you-up-inside jam for today…
Still one of the crunchiest, most harmonic guitar riffs out there. And… Scott Weiland always reminds me of Roy Batty from Blade Runner in this video.

Maggie and I played for a bit and you definitely need more than two people. We had Mirah the cat judging for us.
I hate Team Snapchat, too π

Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace sat down for an interview with President-elect Donald Trump that aired yesterday, touching on a number of recent topics surrounding the Trump Administration’s transition. One of those topics was climate change and Trump’s choice for EPA Administrator, who appears poised to roll back pollution regulations on fossil fuels.
Wallace noted that Trump told the New York Times staff during a recent sit-down that he was “open-minded” about climate change (despite a history of statements to the contrary) and asked, “So, where are you on the environment?”
Trump answered, “I’m still open-minded. Nobody really knows. I’ve—look, I’m somebody that gets it. And nobody really knows. It’s not something that’s so hard and fast.” Wallace didn’t challenge this claim, but assuming that Trump is referring to climate change here (rather than environmental protection more broadly) the reality is, in fact, hard and fast.
The last IPCC report, prepared by hundreds of climate scientists, summarized the state of the science well. It concluded, first, that “Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, and since the 1950s, many of the observed changes are unprecedented over decades to millennia.” And the cause? The report assigned at least 95 percent statistical confidence to the fact that “human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century.”
“Nobody really knows.” π
He seems much more concerned about getting plants opened in the short term.

“BREAKING NEWS. The public was baffled by a sight never before seen in Times Square. Around 1pm ET, future US Vice President Mike Pence wandered up and down the street, mumbling incoherently to himself for over an hour. When police came onto the scene to ask about his behavior, he reportedly said, “I just need to pray the gay away harder that’s all” over and over. Pence has made his stance on the controversial practice of conversion therapy clear during his time in office.
During this disconcerting episode, Pence was also seen asking citizens for donations for the Amphibian Survival Alliance, a conservation program near and dear to the future VPs heart due to his undying love for the frog species. What we can do now is pray that Pence comes to terms with his homosexuality and gets the mental help he so desperately needs. For more on this story stay tuned.”

Peeps, here’s your slow melodic jam for today.
Listening to this while looking out my window on the snowy landscape makes me wish I was in the Himalayas, going all Tibetan monk, drinking tea, reading woodblocks, sampling loops.

Myocardial Infarction. Later today they gonna stick a camera up through my goddam groin, just to see if there’s anything they like! Lonely are the turds, T, lonely are the turds. Never smoked tobacco, I’m thin, I rarely fuck the livestock anymore; I Do Not Deserve this! On the sunny side of the street, I can have as much morphine as I want! Which is an unusual concept…when you think about it. I repeated their statement, “As much as I want?!”. Will be in touch. Gonna have EORR send you some pix. I have so goddam many “lines” hanging out of my needle holes I can get Chinese TV! You don’t want a heart attack. No you don’t!

STRONG Family history is the main culprit. Both grandfathers, dad (with extenuating circumstances) 4 of my 5 brothers. Eating red meat is the only other thing that could possibly be it but I don’t eat anything like some people do. I’m very slightly over weight. When they discharged me they said “red meat no more than 5 meals a week”. That would be an increase for me. I eat fish or chicken most days I eat meat. Steak no more than 4 or 5 times a year. Hamburger 4 or maybe 5 times a week.
I haven’t eaten meat since the day before the heart attack. Purposely. The day before the heart attack I ate chicken. I am surprised as anyone.

Red Meat is REDRUM! No shit. It is the worst of the modifiable behaviors. Mine is mostly the family history but the red meat is the worst. People shouldn’t eat it. At least not like we do. 4 or 5 times a year is a good number. That way it’s a treat and something you can look forward to. No hamburgers. I’m gonna try to start the tofu thing. Life, huh?
Oh! And red wine? Turns out it’s good for you, in moderation. WHATEVER THE FUCK THAT MEANS!? MODERATION SCHMODERATION.

Be wary of tofu — it’s real easy to do completely wrong.
