Dials on the dashboard

Do you ever go to turn the the dials on your dashboard and then think to yourself, “I can’t do anything with these. Changing them isn’t go to make my life any better. It’s not going to solve any of my struggles, ease any of my pain. It’s going to do absolutely nothing for me if I twist anything here.”

I thought so.

Besides, now that you brought it to my attention, if I were to think about it, I’d be grateful for those knobs because they do change my life in a small way. As you may know, I get very cranky if too cold or too hot, so those little knobs can make my world a happier place.
