Me: It annoys me that I have to trim my nails weekly yet I have to live with the same teeth for more than most of my life.
Me: Why can’t I have replacement teeth every few years and just skip the other nonsense?
Maggie: I see you’ve thought about this.
Me: Yep. It’s the molehills that kill us.

Do you think the new teeth should push the old ones out or you should be able to clip them off, or that you should be able to pull them and then wait for new teeth to come in???

I would also like to know the answer to this.

Since the systems are already in place, they can come in like the others did. No need to reinvent the wheel. Or the tooth.

What if they just kept growing and you had to gnaw on wood to keep them worn down? And also you lived in a lodge made of branches and mud in a lake that you created by building a dam and when you sensed danger you slapped the water with your tail and dove to safety? 🤔
tcr! · Sep 5, 2018 at 5:12 pm
Would the lodge be close to Louisville, Kentucky?

It’s your dam lodge, you flood whatever town you want!

I have a vague memory of building a dam of twigs in the drainage ditch behind my dad’s house. I was 11 and not a structural engineer mind you and completely underestimated the force of the current that day.
It should go without saying but I’ll say it anyway. The damn didn’t hold, the twigs and pebbles washed downstream, and I was left with a broken heart. 😢
No lives were lost.

A great tragedy of our times, indeed. Maybe reconsider the whole beaver lifestyle.

I’m ready to grow some new teeth. I’ve had these same thoughts before, even weird dreams about it?
Hmmm…

I wasn’t expecting weird dreams to come into play
