Giving Marvel’s Agent Carver a go this morning. Expectations are low.
20 minutes later…
The costumes are attractive and the sets gorgeous. The era is full of craftsmanship and I love the authenticity of past decades.
Much of real life in the here and now is plastic and imported.
But the lenses are too soft, the colors too vibrant, the lights too shimmering. Overall it looks absurdly fake and this style feels well overdone.
Every show in this time period doesn’t “have to” look this way.
