Some of you may know this truck… I drove it for a number of years and would often have Maggie steer from the passenger seat.
I ferried Maggie to school each morning in it, laid in the bed to watch fireworks and also movies at the Cascade drive in, and even led a parade in our neighborhood once. All with no heat or A/C and a plain old AM-FM radio.
I was having the brakes worked on (you may remember the great brake debacler) and apparently a technician lost control and ran into a concrete light pole. Truck was a good solid soldier for a number of years but he is no more.
Cars and trucks really do become part of our family. 😢 Truck was a good solid soldier for a number of years but he is no more.
