i never had a problem with my wipers. took the car to the same place every time for the oil change, etc.
to be serviced.
the guy suggested windshield wipers to me. i thought, what the hell, he's being nice and it wasn't' that much, i was in the mood and had the money.
my wipers never worked well after that.
i talked to a mechanic, gary w., and he agreed: "they're a bitch!" mechanics, detailers, etc, hate doing 'em 'cuz they're such a hassle. some will say there's a trick to it, but everyone knows this translates into: sometimes it works, sometimes not so much.
