“Counselor? Counselor? Is that you? Counselor?
Come out, come out wherever you are.”
Put your body into motion
Remember that dance you did before
Don’t talk no shit, I’ll falsely listen
Cause I know god’s got nothing more
Times have changed but it makes no difference
Don’t listen to those treacherous whores
Dance for me
By the back door
Let’s explore
Submit to me
In Middle C
Don’t abandon me
Like you did before
Romance in three
Crimes galore
Put your body into motion
Remember that dance and what you wore
I’ve seen your hips, the song don’t matter
Kiss my lips, stop keeping score
Don’t talk no shit, it’s my religion
Cause I know god is nothing more
Nothing more
Melancholy
Dance for me
Like you did before
Sin galore
Vitamin B
Don’t chastise me
You, I adore
To the Nth degree
And so much more
“Counselor. Counselor. Could you be there?
Could you be there?”
We’re standing in a room of chaos
I’m starting to see that something’s wrong
Watching the snakes go by, they’re slithering
The devil’s been here all along
Don’t take no shit, do the division
The skies are sold and so much more
The skies are sold and so much more
“I wonder if you’re here.”
Stream-of-consciousness songwriting meets distorted guitar, on “the skies are sold”, by tcr! Angular riffs are driven by a hard-hitting backbeat on this lo-fi, post-punk track that questions the oligarchy and shines a light on the avarice and greed permeating modern society.
Unorthodox filtered male vocals echo crooked guitar lines, with singsong melodies that worm their way into the listeners’ ear with marked meter and monotonous pitch, effectively driving home socially conscious themes exposing corruption and deceit on a grand scale.
Solid production, relatively decent mix. Surprising clarity and balance, given the lo-fi character and quality. Tremendous energy, straight off the bat. Nice gradual staging in the intro. Good guitar and bass tones. Drums cut through the mix nicely, work well with the bass. Charismatic vocal performance with an idiosyncratic and unique delivery, while the creative use of filters suits the song.
Brilliant lyrical content; has a wonderfully manic cadence and flow to it, almost like beat poetry, along with a compelling message that encourages listeners to open up their eyes and see the world around them for what it actually is.
Overall this is a great track in the true punk rock tradition, subversive and raw with strong anti-establishment and anti-authoritarian themes. Fantastic work on this one!
The song has a gritty, raw energy with those unorthodox vocals and crooked guitar lines that really grab your attention. I appreciated how the repetitive melodies and strong rhythm underline socially conscious themes, giving the track a rebellious and thoughtful edge.

A bold and sonically captivating song that pushes creative boundaries with confidence. The vocals bring a distinct texture that pairs beautifully with the expressive guitar work. The rhythmic tension builds a hypnotic energy that draws the listener in and refuses to let go. It's a uniquely compelling track from start to finish.

i like the lyrics on this track, they're poetic and not lazy. the distortion on the guitar is a heavy fuzz distortion that fits the vibe of the song perfectly.

The guitar work is really cool - gritty and engaging, and it definitely sets the tone well.
—Agus Arcolia
We really enjoyed the jangly guitar tones here alongside the fuzzy vocal delivery. Good driving percussion and drum fills during transition. Nice density on the bass and chord progression.

I like the part where it starts with intense drum beats and narration and goes on to the introduction full of strong noise. The overall atmosphere of the song was repetitive and simple, so I could easily fall in love with it. The composition is very unique compared to other songs, so there may be likes and dislikes, but I think it's an interesting song overall.
