Fascinating. I can’t get enough of this stuff. My favorite stat is that 62% of those convicted of homicides and later exonerated by DNA testing falsely confessed to the crime they were accused of.
It doesn’t take rocket science to see that they were coerced. Not always with violence or threats. Using plain English, they were tricked into falsely confessing by people who had something in it. In plain English, the police. Sometimes with completely malevolent motives. Other times with motives that amount to wanting to do a good job. But always with a motive to gain the confession, by any means necessary.
When I put this information together with the wave of murders by police officers, murders committed “in the line of duty” and therefore stand very little chance of ever being labeled a murder, I can’t help but conclude that I have more to fear from the police than I do from some unknown criminal.
Living in Indiana from the years 2003 to 2013, I learned what vile hardcore racism is all about. These people are gun toting, fearful people, fully inflicted with the jesus fever, and completely sure that a negro is about to harm them soon.
more later. my cat just jumped on the bed.

C. and I watched a documentary on Sugar the other night…
My mind was blown when I learned that the reason they don’t put the percentage by the sugar grams on in the Nutritional Facts on food labels is because Big Sugar doesn’t want them there.

It’s funny because when I was kid, I couldn’t get enough sugar but then in my 20s and 30s, I could take it or leave it. But now in my 40s, I’ll eat a whole bag of them Snickers bite size Halloween candies.
I like the sound of the Big Sugar in the video much better!
