Tarantino’s production company is called a A Band Apart, which i gather came from the way the french media described the “new” way some of the french were making movies. when i read about their craft, i thought of tarantino:  the cuts, the non-linear plot, the violins.

i’ve been watching the doc about the french new wave,  It’s called Two in the Wave.  good stuff.
