I found this on NPP. It’s a fragment of something from approx ‘01. I edited it ever so slightly; took out some echo and sweetened the midrange. I like it better and consider it done for now.

firewater poverty like wounded knee

when you squint

sandy white against skies so blue
that make you think lies are true
