saw a Random Quote on NPP by John Perry Barlow. most famously, he’s a lyricist for the Dead. I loved the quote: “the internet treats censorship as a malfunction and routes around it”.

John Perry partners with Bob Weir for the songs. I can’t remember who wrote the words for Jerry’s music. but anyway, the Barlow/Weir song, “Estimated Prophet” is sooo cool. I read somewhere it’s in 11/4 time. I can’t count stuff that complicated, but it is a stone groove, silk-lined, masterpiece.
