Howl by Allen Ginsberg : The Poetry Foundation

I / I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, / dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix,

After seeing the movie “Ex Machina” this afternoon, I thought it was time to read Howl again. I was/am always struck by the phrase, “machinery of night”.
