I got some cheapo headphones on and they make all the difference in the world. I don’t remember but I think these headphones cost $5.00. It’s sound beyond imagining…
I read this a minute later and I’m hard to follow. I’s comparing my cheap headphones to the spkr in the mac. The headphones are superior.
i don’t like ear buds. i wonder what some spendy headphones would sound like. these thrift store brand are excellent. i should also admit to some pretty advanced tinnitus.
Steely Dan are my favorite band. Along with 9 or 10 others.
Over-the-ear or non-ear-buds are definitely the way to go if you want to hear all the nuances. And also tune everything else out. I have to wear earbuds here at work so I can stay in somewhat in touch when the co-workers are talking.
Even if you were to spend $20 on headphones, they’d be well worth it. Maybe some day I’ll buy me a pair of Beats.
I got a pair of fancy, German-engineered, Bluetooth, noise-cancelling, over-the-ear headphones at Christmas, and honestly there’s just no going back.
I can’t stand earbuds. They never stay in, and they make my ears sore if they’re in for an extended time. I only use them for emergencies. (If anyone’s questioning what constitutes a ‘headphone emergency’, sometimes I’m at a conference and I desperately need to get away for 5 minutes.)
Ear buds definitely aren’t my favorite. They fall out every time I’m chewing. Whence means I cannot eat my lunch at my work desk and pretend not to hear people talking to me.
“…For crimes beyond imagining
you wrip and chop and slice…”
The Dan’s last album. Who knows, but these lyrics smack (no puns, please) of Walter.
Nice little jam to get the morning started!
