Augustus Twain and His Saber

jimi hindrance experience · Mar 18, 2011 at 6:01 am

Now THIS is funny…

Mark Twain from “A Burlesque Biography” on one of his ancestors, Augustus Twain.

He was as full of fun as could be, and used to take his old saber and sharpen it up, and get in a convenient place on a dark night, and stick it through people as they went by, to see them jump. He was a born humorist.

This is comedy, in its purest form. As some have said, “That’s entertainment!”
