E and I were in Iowa City, and we saw the movie “Nobody’s Fool” with Paul Newman, et. al.

A small town judge is chewing out everyone involved in an assault on a cop. The cop is harassing the town character, and fires a warning shot at him. The town character slugs the cop.

The judge tells the chief of police, “Ollie, you know my feelings about arming morons. Arm one and you’ve got to arm them all, otherwise it wouldn’t be good sport.”

Laughed my ass off.

Also sums up my feelings about gun control.
