I would think this would be a fulfilling career, one coveted by all of the warm-fuzzy environmentalists. Alas, it was held by a boob. The deception, the malaria, the undercover ops…all for a mediocre lifestyle.

I imagine he was yet another pawn of corruption, “Have your books and bikes and do nothing with climate change” said the shady politicians who “interviewed” him for the job.

In the end, the simple life was on his mind.
